SPIRAL RIBBON SYSTEM
Color-shifting ribbon particles using Niagara's ribbon renderer with dynamic material parameter binding across two hue values.
Fire Trap System
Looping fire VFX with Blueprint integration — activates real player damage only while the Niagara system is actively emitting.
Sparkle Particles
Ambient sparkle system oscillating between two color values, marking interactive dungeon objects throughout the level.
Design problem solved: The fire trap needed to fire as a projectile, but rotating the Niagara system in local space caused the flames to defy gravity. Solution: override the buoyancy parameter directly instead of relying on local-space rotation — the arc behaves correctly regardless of emitter orientation.
